I was looking at SkillTran's page on how to put in the ability restrictions in a Transferable Skills Analysis for someone with one hand / one arm. I was surprised that the overall strength level was not in there. I would have thought there would be a preclusion of Medium, Heavy and Very Heavy.

Can anyone explain this to me please?

Yes, other than for a "suitcase/handle" object lift (and logically probably not even that) anything over 20 would be unsafe and unrealistic. Even at that a JA would need to establish the type/shape of the up to 20# items to be lifted. If that would be larger boxes , irregularly sized items 20 would be precariously pushing it, jeopardizing both worker and product rendering successful placement unrealistic. Sedentary is most realistic and I would restrict fingering, feeling to Occ, climb to N, as well as KFM to 4
