Last month Janine Holloman noted that I agreed to chair the IT subcommittee of the International Community. This will include providing members with occasional updates and keeping the website current. I hope that this website will also encourage easy communication among members, allowing us to more readily share information and ideas.
Since it is difficult for all the members to attend the monthly phone conferences, this website can also serve to provide updates on the International Community activities.
When the International Committee was initiated a few years ago, one of its goals was to help build or rebuild international chapters. This has been successful, since not only had the Ireland Chapter grown, but Canada and Puerto Rico are now active chapters.
Currently, the International Committee is discussing possibly hosting a Webinar, which will have an International focus. We will be discussing this more in future meetings.
I encourage you to use this website to share ideas and stimulate conversation.
