Bill Schwab is Professor and Interim Chair of the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. An active clinician and teacher, his patient care practice focuses on the primary care of people with disabilities. Dr. Judy Ettinger

Judy Ettinger has worked at the University of Wisconsin since 1980. She completed both her Ph.D. and M.S. in Counseling at UW-Madison.  Her particular area of interest is career development and career counseling. She has always been fascinated with why people make the decisions they do about their jobs, work, and retirement. She also wonders why some people seem very satisfied with their work and why others can't seem to ever find pleasure in what they do. During her career, she has worked on many projects related to career planning. As examples, she has taught a hybrid course within the Counseling Department for many years on Career Development Facilitation, and has worked with the National Institute of Corrections to help offenders transition from the institution back to the workplace, specifically on the employment issues.  She has consulted with school districts to help them improve their guidance programs, particularly the career development component. She has also taught at UCLA, the University of Florida, University of North Carolina at Charlotte, Normandale Community College in Minnesota, and Johnson County Community College in Kansas. In addition, she has provided extensive training on career decision-making for workforce development staff in Southeast Minnesota, Veterans in Wisconsin, and educators in Vermont.   Her other area of interest is preparing folks for retirement—assisting them to look at how they want to bring "work" into their retirement years.
