This presentation will surround the use of technology in rehabilitation practices, specifically boundaries between personal and professional use of social media and information sharing platforms. From personal Facebook profiles to professional websites and cloud storage to telehealth, our presence online is increasing. How we handle our information and the information of others is getting more complicated.
This presentation will discuss the guidance of ethical codes, as well as engage the attendees in discussion surrounding transparency of personal and professional information online, and discuss basic best practices to protect private online information from those who should not have access to it.
