This presentation will introduce how evidence for the need for future medical care, such as a life care plan, may be quantified to illustrate an intermittent – yet cumulative loss of employment access. 

Learning Objectives:

  1. The attendee will learn the importance of evaluating ongoing medical care needs in vocational analysis. 
  2. The attendee will understand and be able to explain the term loss of employment opportunity.
  3. The attendee will understand that not all injuries result in an enduring loss of earning capacity – some may result in a loss of work opportunity over time.
  4. The attendee will learn a method to quantify loss of work opportunity in conducting her/her vocational analysis.
