Brenda Martinez Richardson has earned a Master of Science degree in Rehabilitation Counseling and Case Management from Fort Valley State University, Fort Valley, Georgia. She has earned her professional certifications from the Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC), American Board of Vocational Experts as an International Psychometric Evaluator (IPEC) and Registry of Professional Vocational Evaluators as a Professional Vocational Evaluator (PVE).
As Vocational Consultant Director, Ms. Martinez Richardson directs the work and conducts training programs for our Vocational Consultants, evaluates vocational services and develop procedures to improve quality of service. In addition, she provides vocational rehabilitation services including vocational evaluations, labor market surveys, transferable skills analysis, vocational testing, and job placement services.
Ms. Martinez Richardson is accepted as a Vocational Expert by the Social Security Administration and testifies in Social Security disability adjudication hearings. She is approved to provide vocational evaluations by Florida Division of Vocational Rehabilitation and an approved provider for FECA services with the Department of Labor. Additionally, she is an authorized provider of PGAP (Progressive Goal Attainment Program) services.
Ms. Martinez Richardson is bilingual in English and Spanish. She has provided services for cases in Florida, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Ms. Martinez Richardson is the Membership Chair of the Florida Chapter of the International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals. She served as Central Florida President of the Florida Chapter of the International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals from 2016 – 2019. She is a member of the Vocational Evaluation and Career Assessment Professionals Association and the National Rehabilitation Association.
