Hello! I completed my Canadian LCP certification about a year ago and was so lucky to get connected with an amazing mentor through the ICHCC. I've gained so much valuable experience and I feel like I'm finally ready to start marketing and getting work on my own. I am hoping people can share any tips to "getting out there". I'm also trying to network within our community as much as I can. I'm not able to attend the symposium this November, but I'm planning to go next year.
Back to my question: how do I put myself out there? I live about 2 hours from Toronto, so I'm thinking about reaching out to local lawyers. Should I reach out to individual lawyers or law firms in general? I also want to introduce myself to third party medical insurance examiners.
I'm experiencing task paralysis because I get caught up in what that actually looks like, do I create a flyer, an email, are there pictures, what do I say? It's so intimidating!
Any tips or examples that anyone has to share would be super helpful to give me this final push!
My profile also includes links to my website and my LinkedIn profile, I welcome any feedback if anyone takes the time to look.
Thank you all so much!
