Hi Vanessa,
I just took the exam back in December 2023. I didn't think it was too hard compared to other exams I have taken in the past, but like any test, you have to read the questions very carefully. I primarily used the ICHCC study guide/webinar, the ICHCC handbook, and the textbook "Life Care Planning and Case management Handbook (4th edition)" as my study materials. Dr. May's comments and review of the material in the webinar were very helpful and was a good guide for what to focus your studies on, but it's not the only resource you will need. I studied for about 2-3 weeks. I did make a lot of flashcards as well. I couldn't tell you the pass/fail rate. You can always message me if you have any other questions on my exam prep.
Also, in my experience, Kathleen May with ICHCC was a wonderful resource for answering the questions I had about the exam and the whole certification process/paperwork. She was very down to Earth, understanding, and responsive. Just call ICHCC. Hope that helps. I am sure you will do great. :)

Looking for recommendations on the best ways to study for the exam! I know the governing board has a booklet but looking to see what everyone's experience is. I know when I took my OT boards the practice exams were very valuable and many flash cards for others professional are invaluable!!!
I am hearing the exam is very hard. How long is wise to prepare? And if anyone knows the pass/fail rate that would be great. I haven't found it.
