Good for New Jersey! I would like to see more States require license laws. As a Rehabilitation Counselor who has obtained a MA in Rehabilitation Counseling, the CRC, and hold a LPC in the State of Michigan, I want to see everyone doing have the same training, preparation, and licenses to practice. Then maybe we will have a voice and be respected as the professionals we are!! I am sure there is a way to be grandfathered or re-certified to qualify for licenses. We are in a profession that requires ongoing training to stay current and competent. This is part of what the professional agrees to if they choose this profession. I support the New Jersey effort.
