    Dear IARP Members,

I hope this message finds you well. My name is Dr. Jeremy Ramos. I am a rehabilitation consultant with experience in civil and workers' compensation cases. I recently joined IARP with the goal of furthering my skills and knowledge, particularly in vocational and forensic rehabilitation.

I am reaching out in hopes of finding mentorship within this esteemed community. I would be very interested in joining a team in a working capacity where I can contribute my skills and gain hands-on experience under the guidance of seasoned professionals. I am eager to learn more about vocational testing and the nuances of expert testimony while supporting a team that shares these objectives.

If there is an opportunity to collaborate, I would greatly appreciate any chance to connect and explore ways to contribute meaningfully to your work.

Thank you for your consideration, and I look forward to the possibility of working together.

    Warm regards,
    Dr. Jeremy Ramos

    Dear Dr. Ramos:

I am Michelle Weiss and I chair the IARP mentoring committee. I would love to have you apply to the mentor program.  We hope to have more mentors sign up or reactivate (you can go inactive after a while, or by choice).   We are working on a campaign to sign up and recruit both mentors and proteges.

If you do match with someone outside of the program, I hope that both of you will apply online, and match online. It takes less than 5 minutes to apply. This helps us track the good work our IARP members are doing in mentorship.

I would apply and if you do not find an immediate match reach back out to me and we can work to find someone for you. I also suggest viewing the current mentors in the pool, and checking back in 30 days as we hope for registrations at the conference.

I see you are in California. I hope to see you at the conference next week in San Francisco. We will have a mentoring booth for registration for the program in the exhibit hall.

For those who are interested in the program, reach out to me or to any of our mentoring committee members: Brian Daly,   Laura Frailey,   Amy Peterson, Nicole Fuscaldo, Stella Spencer,  and Amy MacKenzie.

Tony Morin is heading up student coaching and on our committee but if someone just has brief questions and not ongoing mentoring, Tony is also an excellent connection.

I hope to see you and talk to you in-person at the conference.

I see you are interested in testing and Dr. Lisa Lee is a speaker and an exhibitor at the conference. She has a wealth of knowledge. She works with Edits, and has the COPS System.

Thank you again for joining IARP.  I have been a member for 33 years, and it was a key resource for me as I started my career and forensic career.

To register for mentoring and view current mentor matches, go to https://rehabpro.org/page/mentoring

I have also attached instructions on how to apply.

    Best regards,
