What the Heck is Coaching the Course?
As I was reviewing the articles that will appear in this month’s issue of our new e-newsletter, I thought it might be a good idea for me to review why we are publishing this new quarterly electronic news… Coaching the Course.
Our intent is to promote the value of IARP to all members and in particular newcomers through interviews that address pivotal career issues:
- finding a first or second job
- networking at an IARP event or other career-building event
- choosing your job site
- bumps in the path to a successful career
- what aspects of the profession do you look forward to every day
- have you changed directions in the field and how did it work out
- thinking about an exit strategy?
The newsletter is not a summation of what appears on rehapro.org or Facebook, but we do allude to important career-related events with links to the web site.
The newsletter is short with approximately three to four interviews per issue. Links to important stories told in other social media are limited only by their significance to IARP as a unit and its value to you, the members.
Now I hope I have answered the question...Coaching the Course
