Bailey Named New IARP Executive Director

Accomplished professional brings more than a decade of healthcare experience

The International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals (IARP) is pleased to announce the addition of Kim Bailey as the organization’s new executive director. Bailey brings to IARP over a decade of non-profit healthcare association management.

Previously, Bailey worked with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation for seven years, where she specialized in fundraising, leadership and corporate development. She also has two years of experience at both the American Cancer Society and Northwestern Health Sciences University, handling event management and corporate development at both establishments.

“We are excited to welcome Kim Bailey to the IARP team, and feel fortunate to have found an executive with her level of experience in this field to take over this vital role,” said Dr. Rick Robinson, President of IARP. “In we have someone who can truly hit the ground running as we work to grow and promote the professional private rehabilitation industry.”

Bailey works directly for IARP under the umbrella of Ewald Consulting, IARP’s association management company, headquartered in St. Paul, Minnesota. The Ewald Consulting team provides administrative support for the over 65 online courses offered by IARP, over 30 local chapter events, and the annual conference that will be in St. Louis, Missouri, in October 2017.

“I am delighted to have this opportunity, working closely with the great people of IARP and furthering the association’s vital mission,” said Bailey, who holds a degree in Organizational Management and Leadership from Concordia University in St. Paul. “This is an important time for the rehabilitation industry, and an exciting time for healthcare in general not only in the United States but throughout the world. Working with the many specialists that make up IARP is an honor as we promote continued learning and advancement of the profession.”
