Job Description:

The position involves a full-range of Vocational Evaluation Services, Interviews, Medical File Review, Job Analysis and Labor Market Survey (LMS) Research. The Full-Time Evaluator will work with experienced Vocational Evaluators, CRCs and Expert Witnesses. If you wanted to apprentice into the Forensic Evaluation Area, this is your opportunity. The firm’s practice includes services provided to the Florida Division of Vocational Rehabilitation for Comprehensive Vocational Evaluations.

Education: MA or MS in Rehabilitation desirable. Recent graduate would be considered.

Credentials: CRC, CCM or CDMS preferred to qualify to provide services as a Florida Rehabilitation Provider.

Professional Associations: Preferred Florida Chapter of IARP or Tampa Bay CMSA

Experience: Desired, although not required. Will consider recent MA or MS in Rehabilitation Graduate.

Expertise: Professional Communications Skills -> Written & Oral – Microsoft Office

Compensation: -> Hourly Wage or Salary commensurate with proven experience, Mileage Reimbursement for Travel, Education Reimbursement, Health Care Benefit Reimbursement, 401K Benefit Program, Professional Liability Insurance, Workers Compensation, General Liability.

Case Work: 85% -> 90% Forensic Litigated: 10%-> 15% Florida DVR Vocational Evaluations.

Geographic Area: Primarily Local Office – St. Petersburg. Occasional Travel: 150 mile radius from Tampa Bay.

Occasional Travel for Case Work – Currently: Tallahassee, Ocala, Gainesville, Orlando, Miami. We have offices in Tampa and Palmetto that may require local travel within 30 mile radius.

Company Summary:

England & Associates was established in 1982 in Huntington Beach, California. Private Sector Services included Workers' Compensation, Family Law, Personal Injury, L&H Act, Jones Act and LTD. The firm's principal, Bill R. England, MS, CRC, CDMS, moved to Florida in 1988 to continue practice in the private sector. The current Administrative Office is located in St. Petersburg, Florida. Two satellite offices are located in Tampa, Florida and Palmetto, Florida. The primary service area is considered Tampa Bay.

Private Sector Rehabilitation Services are now focused on Vocational Evaluations, Reemployment Assessments, Labor Market Survey (LMS) Research and Expert Testimony. Jurisdictions include Florida Workers Compensation (50%), Family Law (20%), Personal Injury (10%), Florida Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (15%) and Federal Case Work (L&H, DOD, FECA, & SSD).

The firm has 10 part-time and full-time employees: four (4) Vocational Case Managers, Nurse Case Manager, Placement Specialist, Administrative Assistant, Programmer, Systems Analyst and Marketing Consultant. The firm has an established relationship with the University of South Florida program for Rehabilitation & Mental Health Counseling (RMHC). Guest Speakers and Lecturers are provided on a regular basis for graduate course work. Mr. England is a member of the RMHC Curriculum Committee and RSA Scholarship Committee. The firm has been an Internship Site for the USF RMHC program since 2007. The firm employed four USF RMHC Graduate Students during the 2016- 2017 academic year.

Daniel Giles, MA, CRC, CDMS, has been with the firm 10 years. Daniel Giles is the current President of the Florida Chapter of IARP.  Bill England, MS, CRC, is a Past President of the Florida Chapter of IARP. Vocational CMs are all members of the Florida Chapter of IARP. IARP Membership is sponsored by the firm. Mr. England is the current Legislative Chair. He was involved with Legislative Changes in 2011 which resulted in a statutory mandate that the CRC become a recognized credential for practice within Florida Workers' Compensation. Mr. England has testified before Florida House Committee Representatives on cost saving initiatives for Private Sector Vocational Rehabilitation Firms. Specifically he has participated in a lobby effort that reduced regulation and redundant forms. The firm has continued to grow in the St. Petersburg location for the last 18 years. The firm now has three offices in Tampa Bay.
