Attached are two documents for you to absorb and may be critical to the rehabilitation field as we know it today.
The first is a press release today from CORE about their merger with CACREP effective July 1, 2017.
The second was a letter from ACA and the AASCB (Amer Assoc of StateCounseling Boards) to the Alabama counselor licensing board regarding the work of the 20/20: A Vision for the Future of Counseling group presenting their agenda for licensure SOP for all those in counseling and there being only one license - LPC.
The Rehab Counseling Coalition (RCC) will be meeting in a few weeks and these actions will be a focus of conversation.
